Batman v Superman to Receive an R Rated ‘Ultimate Edition’.

In the wake of Deadpool’s box office domination, the discourse on R+ rated superhero films has increased dramatically. When does it work? Why has it failed in the past? Why was Deadpool so successful where others had ‘failed’?

All of these questions are coming back into play, as report suggests that Warner Brothers could be planning a special 18+ cut of their new blockbuster, ‘Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice’. This speculation developed when filmratings.com listed a new home release version of the film titled: Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition. It will be rated R due to “sequences of violence.”
